# Setting Up Stripe

## Integrating Stripe

To get started, you will need at least one Stripe account linked to a bank account for accepting payments. If you already have a Stripe account, you can simply use your existing one.

Integrating Stripe with OnTrack is a one-time setup process. Upon the setup of your database, a unique link will be sent to your primary contact for integration. In case you have misplaced the link or require assistance, you can reach out to <help@compass-360.org> for further support.

## Processing Fees

Stripe applies the standard 2.9% + 30¢ fee per transactions. C360 also applies a 0.3% application fee to the transaction.

Stripe offers a nonprofit discount for qualifying organizations. [Review the qualifications and easily apply for their nonprofit discount](https://support.stripe.com/questions/fee-discount-for-nonprofit-organizations). Each discount is unique, however most organizations will receive a rate of 2.2% - 2.5% + 30¢ fee.

OnTrack allows you to optionally pass these fees onto the purchaser. [Read more on how to enable this at checkout](/registration/registration-settings.md#include-stripe-processing-fees).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.c360.org/getting-started/ontrack-docs/setting-up-stripe.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
